Michael
Service Manager
Hello! I'm a native of West Texas, specifically the Llano Estacado, where Karl May's Winnetou and Old Shatterhand lived out many of their various adventures. That being said, I don't know how to ride a horse nor do I carry a gun. My parents have a picture of me as a child sitting on a cow, but that's the extent of my cowboy experience.
I spent several years in the U.S. Navy and later studied business administration, philosophy and German literature and linguistics in college. I moved to Leipzig in the summer of 2008 and joined the Wall Street Team in February 2009. Some of my hobbies include jogging and reading. I have also been known to play video games now and then.
I look forward to helping you learn English the Wall Street way!
Lehre tut viel, aber Aufmunterung tut alles. Goethe

Heike
Consultant

Doreen
Personal Tutor
Hi!
My name is Doreen and I have been with Wall Street Institute for several years now. After my apprenticeship as a European correspondent specializing in foreign languages, I decided to work in a multicultural establishment.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, cooking and walks through the parks of the city with my hubby.

Claudia
Personal Tutor

Tobias
Personal Tutor
Tobias joined the Wall Street Institute in spring 2008. English has always been a passion for him, capturing vast parts of his leisure time. Students appreciate him due to the fact that he is always in a good temper and helpful. The international flair provided by Wall Street Institute and his qualification as an English student fit perfectly together. Tobias is a native-born "Barbyer" and is looking forward to welcome you.

Rob
Teacher
Rob was born and raised in the West Midlands in England. He has been in Germany since 2000 and lived in Berlin before coming to Leipzig. Apart from extensive traveling in the Middle East and other parts of Asia, he has worked in Israel and Yugoslavia. He enjoys oil painting and clay sculpting and is an avid sportsman and can often be seen running with Jacob, his little white cocker spaniel. He has been with us since May 2004 and is known as the Wall Street artist, as he always draws witty pictures in his classes. He is looking forward to meeting you and helping you learn English a better way!

Kelsey
Teacher
Elizabeth is a native of Bloomington, Indiana, a town known for sex research (Kinsey, 2004) and competitive cycling (Breaking Away, 1979). She completed her Bachelors Degree in Comparative Linguistics from Earlham College in May 2005 and her Cambridge CELTA certificate from the Berlin School of English in July 2006.
After brief stints in the cities of Tokyo, Morioka, and Philadelphia, Kelsey decided to move somewhere where her fluency in Japanese would be completely useless, and was awarded a Fulbright teaching assistantship to the Susanna-Eger-Schule für Gastronomie und Hotelfach in Leipzig for the 2005-2006 school year, having never before set foot on the European continent. She has since fallen madly in love with the city of Leipzig and is delighted to be the newest member of the Wall Street Institute team!

Brownen
Teacher
My name is Bronwen, but everyone knows me as Beani! I was born and grew up in beautiful sunny South Africa, home of the "Rainbow Nation". After completing degrees in sociology and law, I left South Africa to live and study in Austria for four years. But the majestic red sunsets and the African bush were missing and I returned to SA to work in the wildlife industry for 7 years. Nature and animals are my passion. During this time I met and married my German husband and we now have two children, a huge Golden Retriever called Bailey and a cat named Sweetpea! I have been living in Leipzig for three and a half years now, and it is a wonderful city. I love travelling and have been to many countries in Europe and the Far East and was an exchange student to the USA for a year. My hobbies include playing the piano while my dog sits next to me and howls!

Funbi
Teacher
Funbi was born in Kensington, a district of West London England and grew up in both England and Nigeria. She studied Architecture and Environmental Science in Lagos Nigeria. Married with 3 children she has been living in Germany since 1995. At present she lives in the rapidly developing historical city of Leipzig. Her passions are Education, Art, Architecture, Fashion, Music and meeting people from different cultures. Having lived in 3 different cultures and taught Business English for 10 years, she understands the challenge of learning a new language. Funbi loves the flavour and richness of an international environment and feels at home at WSI. With her experience in the professional world of building and her varied background, she looks forward to helping you overcome the challenges of learning the English language and its "strange" culture.
