Claire
Senior Language Consultant
I was born in Dublin, the first of 5 children, a typical Irish family! I moved to Cologne in May 2001 and joined the Wall Street team in 2004. I love the international atmosphere here and look forward to meeting new people every day. I enjoy languages, reading, shopping, music, cleaning (seriously!) and spending time with family and friends. Everyone has their own story why they want to learn English. I look forward to hearing yours.

Donald
Teacher
I was born in the Land of the Long White Cloud, Aotearoa or as it's generally know by everyone else, New Zealand. I've travelled quite a lot and lived the last 8 years in Australia. Moving to Germany and it's weather last year was quite a shock to my system. I've been use to summers where the temperature is around 35 - 45 degrees and winters where the temperature only gets as low as 0 degrees! I love travelling, music and mountain biking. I've really enjoyed the last few months as I've been able to get out and explore some of the hills in NRW. I'm really enjoying Cologne and am looking forward to spending the next few years here.

Florian
Service Manager
I was born in the beautiful city of Cologne. Having spent some time abroad, I went on to study Linguistics to then become a member of the WSI Team in Düsseldorf in 2007. In my free time I enjoy playing music, kayaking and cooking.
I am looking forward to meeting all of our new students and offering them all the support they need to improve their English!

Anna
Language Consultant
Hi everybody, my name is Anna and I grew up in Wuppertal (yes exactly, the lovely city with the “Schwebebahn”). When I lived in Brazil as a teenager I discovered my passion for foreign cultures and languages. That’s why I left my hometown after highschool to live and work abroad. I spent a year in Australia and London where I felt in love with English! Fortunately after my university degree I started working for Wall Street. Here I have the chance to keep in touch with English and to meet people from all over the world. I´m looking forward to meet you, too. I’m sure we find the right course for you!

Hannah
Language Consultant
My name is Hannah. Born in the north of Germany, I grew up in Bergheim… right, the small town with loud, pimped up cars J I made my apprenticeship in marketing communications in a American company here in Cologne and established my interest for the English language. After a side trip in the hotel industry with joining a huge hotel opening in Bonn, I came back to one of my oldest love: Cologne! To find the individual course for your personal success, that's my misson! Maybe you are the next one hearing "Welcome at Wall Street" from me.

Michael

I began organising Business English Seminars as well as working for various companies and schools in Cologne. In November 2007 I joined Wall Street Institute and really like working on the Wall Street team. Teaching is something I enjoy doing as well as playing music on a part time basis. Maybe I will see you at the next music gig.

Bill is a yankee. He was born in Baltimore but spent most of his life in New York City where he worked one block away from Wall Street. After many twists and turns throughout his life he ended up as a graphic artist in the music and pharmaceutical industries (That's a good mixture!). In 2001, Bill decided to leave the downtown New York scene is proud that he is finally working on Wall Street (Institute, that is)."

Amit
Teacher
Born in England with Indian roots, Amit also spent much of his childhood in India and Saudi Arabia. While in his final year of university in London he met a German student who persuaded him that the British simply can’t bake bread and he should move to Germany. Unable to provide a sound counter argument, he packed his suitcase and joined her. He has been at the WSI Cologne since November 2005 and enjoys most of all the multi-national working environment and the opportunity to meet so many people from different backgrounds.

Ana
Teacher
Ana was born in London, her family is Portuguese and originally from Goa. She studied Modern European Languages in Liverpool and worked as a ballet teacher and for an airline group before moving to Germany in 2001. She worked at WSI in Hanover when it opened later that year and was a Language Consultant for six years before becoming a teacher. She joined the Cologne team in December 2009 and is looking forward to new adventures.

Amanda
Personal Tutor
Born 1973 as the product of a joint-venture between a Nanny and a former Coldstream Guard, Amanda spent her first 18 years in and around Grimsby, northern England, listening to music, reading books and watching australian soap operas. After a 4 year period at Leeds University hanging out with 'southerners' and fine-tuning an accent that no-one can place, Amanda moved to Germany in 1996 to spend a year looking after other peoples' kids. Twelve years later she decided to look after other peoples' parents and friends instead and became a PT. Three philosophies she lives by are "if you see someone without a smile, give them yours", "if it aint broke, don't fix it" and "I don't do mornings".

Claudia
Personal Tutor
Hi, I´m Claudia S. ….like my colleague Claudia S. So to avoid confusion, call me Claudi! I was born and raised in Cologne and its outskirts. Due to my great interest in foreign languages and cultures, travelling and living abroad has always played a major role in my life. Therefore, during my studies of English, Spanish and Italian Philology I spent 10 months in Scotland. After graduating from Bonn University and spending a year in Austria where it became clear to me that I actually did understand Scots better than Tirolerisch, I moved to the South of Spain to work in a Spanish Language School for another 10 months. That is when I realized how much I enjoy working in an international environment. And here I am, back in my hometown looking forward to meeting you!
Laura
Teacher
Hello there!
My name is Laura. I come from New York State (but not NYC) in the USA. Although my first flight wasn't until age 18, I've since found nothing more thrilling than cultural travel and linguistic exchange. From China to the Czech Republic, I've spent some time teaching, traveling, and studying languages... and I love it! I'm glad to be in beautiful Germany now, helping many new students reach their goals in learning English. Hope to see you soon!
