Welcome to Wall Street Institute
Team Hamburg Eppendorfer Landstraße!

Steve
Centre Director
Born in the UK, I moved to Australia at a young age and spent my formative years surrounded by kangaroos, koalas and man-eating crocodiles. I started to work for Wall Street Institute in Munich and then came to Hamburg to open our first centre here in Valentinskamp in 2001.
Love, marriage and two bouncing baby boys later, in November 2007 we opened our centre in Eppendorferlandstrasse and now, after doing a variety of jobs within the company, I have settled back into my role as Director for both centres.
I look forward to seeing you and helping you to help yourself by learning English with our team.

Corporate Sales Manager
I'm originally from the so-called “Bavarian Tuscany” but I prefer the sea to the mountains. In my previous life I worked in a 5-star-hotel in good old Baden-Baden. However since 2001 I have been focusing my full attention on 5-star-language-training at Wall Street Institute. First as Language and Senior Consultant at our Centre in Valentinskamp and since July 2008 I am proud to help a wonderful team make our Eppendorf Centre bigger and better!
In my free time I enjoy trying out recipes from all over the world, attempting to learn how to play golf, and spending weekends on City trips or in nice wellness hotels. Hope to see you soon at Wall Street Institute Eppendorf!

After travelling the world for over one and a half years, I've decided to call Hamburg my new home. Every day I find myself exploring and getting to know this great city. Originally from Toronto Canada, I love meeting new people and getting to know different cultures. Travelling is my true passion in life which has opened my eyes and mind. I have survived being chased by elephants in Zambia to earthquakes in New Zealand. When I not packing my bags for an excursion to some far away land, I enjoy time with friends, sports and pretending I know a few things about photography.

Originally I’m from Hildesheim, Lower Saxony, where I studied International Information Management and where my family still lives. I’ve always had a soft spot for English as a language and everything British in general (my friends considered me a bit geeky even). Having been an Au-pair in the world’s coolest capital, London, I lost my heart to the city and returned year after year. I’m fascinated by different English accents and dialects (I spent a semester in Liverpool where I learned about one of the funniest accents, called “Scouse”). Back in Germany I ended up in Hamburg, which supposedly is the most British of all German cities – I was led here by my American boyfriend after all! Most of all I enjoy cooking and hanging out in parks reading English novels, or I try to go to a gig every once in a while as my other passion is music (even though I don’t play an instrument – but dream of owning a huge record collection one day).

I have spent the last ten years traveling the world to ultimately end up in beautiful Hamburg, at the Wall Street Institute. A native of Denver, my wanderlust began at the University of Colorado during a summer abroad in Mexico, an expanded to a year of studies in Spain. After getting a degree in Spanish, the pursuit of languages took me to Beijing to study Mandarin, and begin work as an English teacher. Mastering Mandarin was sidetracked when I met my German husband who dragged me to Munich (to learn German!) and continue work as an English teacher. When not working, I like to spend time reading, doing yoga, or, more interestingly, socializing at the pub.

Hi everyone! My name is Hiromi. I’m from one of the most exciting cities in the world, Tokyo Japan!
I learned English when I was little because my Rock’n Roller father wanted me to sing with him in English ;)
After singing enough with him, I decided to leave Tokyo to see the world.
I’ve spent several years living in the US, studying in Australia and ended up living in this beautiful city of Hamburg.
Being away from my family is never easy even though I’m addicted to exploring the world!

Being half Greek, half German with a family living all over the world (USA, Greece, Germany) I found the perfect reason to study Modern Greek and English at university. My answer to the question "What do you want to do with it?" that I hear quite often could now be "working at Wall Street Institute". Why? Because it is such a multicultural place where you meet so many different people who are interested in learning a language, which is a passion as well.

Another one from the Island..... I spent my formative years in deepest darkest Somerset and then studied German at Nottingham University. After graduating I spent a year travelling in America, Canada, Australia & New Zealand, then moved to Germany in April 2001. I have lived in Hamburg since September 2001 and I like it! When not glued to my computer or teaching encounters, I can be found listening to rock music, propping up the bar in various Schanzen-Kneipen or relaxing with a good book and a glass of red wine.
Biljana
Language Consultant
Hi, I am Biljana. I am originally from Croatia, but born and raised in Hamburg. After my Abitur, I went travelling for half a year to play tennis tournaments. Then, I studied fashion management and worked as a trainee at Escada in Munich. During this internship, I quickly found out that it was not the right thing for me and therefore decided to study Marketing and Communications instead. After graduating, I worked at the Hamburger Sparkasse for almost two years. My hobbies are travelling, travelling and…travelling! I understand the importance of English as an International Language and like to help others reach their goal of learning for whatever reason they might have!

Although I have lived in Germany for many years, my heart remains in England, where I was born and grew up. Hamburg is a lovely city though and when not helping students with all their English language needs, I enjoy spending time in my lovely new house with family and friends.

Growing up on a farm in the beautiful county of Galway in Southern Ireland, I spent my childhood among sheep, cattle and Connemara ponies. Aged 12, I left home, shoes in my hand and headed for Dublin where I had heard the streets were paved with gold. On the way I was kidnapped by a band of leprechauns who sold me for a pot of gold to Michael Flatley’s Riverdance show. After more than a decade of wearing black tights and tap shoes, I decided one night on tour in Hamburg to leave the group and seek my fortune as an English teacher at Wall Street Institute in Eppendorf. Now I spend my days helping students with their English and pining for a pint of real Guinness and some good Irish Cheddar cheese.

I was born in Frankfurt am Main and grew up in Mainz - without Karneval!
In 1995 I moved to Bremen and then finally in1999 to Hamburg and it hasn’t taken me long to feel like a true “Hamburger”….Moin!
After taking part in a language course at Wall Street Institute, I got the chance to work here and enjoy helping the students and speaking English.
You learn something new every day!
