I come from Denmark, the land of the Vikings. I studied French for two years at the University of Aarhus in Denmark before I decided to do a Bachelor of Arts in comparative literature with focus on American literature. The latter I did partly at the University of Copenhagen and partly at the UC Berkeley. Furthermore, I travelled a lot, and also both lived and studied in Australia and France. I have lived in Dortmund for 11 years with my German husband and our two boys of 10 and 7 years. We are a multi-lingual family, as we speak German, Danish and English at home. When I want to relax, I read a lot (preferably books in English), walk my dog, go to the movies or do sports. My two newest hobbies are playing the guitar and running half-marathons. Before I joined the WSI Dortmund-Team I used to be a Personal Tutor in an IT Training-company.

Hi, I'm Jaina. I joined the WSI team in February 2009. Currently, I'm studying English at the Ruhr-University of Bochum and here in Dortmund I get the ultimate chance to act out my passion for the English language. When I'm not doing that, you can surely find me somewhere around in Essen, where I live. I like to hang out with my family and friends, read detective stories and watch movies. As I originally come from India, I love to do classical Indian and Indian folk dances. Well, that's it about me! I hope to see you soon in our centre and we look forward to spicing up your English!

I was born in Hanover and have always had a passion for the English language and other countries. I studied English and German literature and culture and spent a gap year in what I call the "world's most beautiful city" - Edinburgh. Joining the Wall Street Institute team Hanover in June 2006 gave me the opportunity to combine my interests and help others to improve their language skills. Since June 2008 I've been happy to lead a great team in Dortmund. I am looking forward to welcoming you to the centre and show you what a difference communication -in any language- makes!

Hi, I'm Stefan and I am responsible for our corporate clients in Dortmund and Essen. I have been with WSI since September 2007. I started as Personal Tutor and Teacher at WSI Essen to then take up the position of Service Manager in Dortmund. I have been in my new position as Corporate Sales Manager since January 2011. I studied English, American and Comparative Literature in Bochum. Before that I worked in numerous jobs both in Germany and the UK. Although my working life keeps me very busy, I still try to devote enough time to my interests, such as my family, football (Manchester United and VFL Bochum), music (northern soul, mod and punk), contemporary literature and all things connected to England and Manchester in particular. I look forward to meeting you and finding a tailor-made training solution for your company.

I was born in an old city, Yaroslavl on the River Wolga in Russia. I studied German and English as a foreign language and got my Ph.D. in German Studies in Moscow. Doing my Ph.D. I worked as a lecturer in Russian language and culture at the Ruhr-University of Bochum. That's when I fell in love with the "Ruhrpott"! In April 2008 I joined WSI in Dortmund and I am more than happy to help our students! In my leisure time I play the piano, read and write detective stories and go out with my friends.

Hi, I'm Qing and I joined the WSI team in October, 2009. Since my early age my family used to move a lot, due to my father's job. I was born in Beijing, China but raised in Cairo, Egypt. After graduating from high school i moved to Germany and started studying at the Ruhr Universität Bochum majoring in political sciences and minoring in chinese language, culture and history. In my free time i enjoy watching old kung fu flicks from the 70s and 80s. I practised wushu and sanda which is the chinese version of kickboxing. And i love to play basketball. So thats enough about me - I hope to see you in our center soon.

Hi, I'm Stephanie. I joined the WSI team here in Dortmund in June 2009. Originally I am from Hagen where I live with my husband and our two cats. I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and German Studies at the University of Bochum. Last year I started a Master course in Literature and History at the Fernuniversität in Hagen. In my previous jobs I already gathered some experience in teaching English and German. During my time at University the greatest adventure that I was able to enjoy was the academic term which I spent in Glasgow / Scotland. I met a lot of wonderful people there from all over the world and I am still in touch with many of them today. In my spare time I like to do sports such as yoga and ballet and I go jogging in the forest. Moreover I like watching films, going to the theatre and reading books. I'm looking forward to meeting you in our centre and to giving you support while you are learning English!
Hi, ich bin Stephanie. Ich bin seit Juni 2009 bei Wall Street Institute in Dortmund. Eigentlich komme ich aus Hagen, wo ich mit meinem Mann und unseren zwei Katzen wohne. Ich habe einen Bachelor of Arts in Anglistik und Germanistik an der Ruhr-Universität Bochum gemacht. Im letzten Jahr habe ich einen Master-Studiengang in Literatur und Geschichte an der Fernuniversität in Hagen begonnen. In meinen bisherigen Jobs konnte ich bereits Erfahrung im Unterrichten von Englisch und Deutsch sammeln. Während meiner Zeit an der Uni war das größte Abenteuer mein Auslandssemester in Glasgow / Schottland. Ich habe dort viele interessante Menschen aus der ganzen Welt getroffen und mit einigen habe ich noch heute Kontakt. In meiner Freizeit mache ich gerne Sport, z.B. Yoga und Ballett und ich gehe im Wald Joggen. Außerdem sehe ich gerne Filme, gehe ins Theater und lese Bücher. Ich freue mich, Euch in unserem Center zu treffen und Euch beim Englisch-Lernen zu unterstützen!

I come from the land of the Maple Leaf and Hockey, Canada! I was born and raised there. I have my Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in Music and a Minor in English Literature. I have chosen to come to Germany to teach English and explore the wonders of Europe as much as possible. I have a great passion for learning about new cultures and traditions and meeting new people from all walks of life. When I am not in the classroom you can find me reading a book, watching a movie or singing Classical music.

Hi, my name is Tannis. I'm from Canada, another land of sports and beer! I went to university in Canada's capital city, Ottawa. Then I moved to Australia for a few years, where I attended law school and enjoyed the sunny weather. In March of 2010, I moved to Nürnberg and joined the Wall Street team. I had a great time in Nürnberg and I learned a bit about Bavaria and the German culture, but now I am very excited to be a part of the team here in Dortmund. I'm looking forward to exploring the Ruhr region and watching a football match as part of the "yellow wall!"

Hi, my name's Judith. I come from Kenya, a beautiful country in East Africa. I joined Wall Street Institute in 2008. I studied Sociology and French at the University of Nairobi, Kenya and thereafter worked for the United Nations Development Programme for Somalia before joining my husband in Germany in 2005. I love it here in Germany as I have met wonderful people and been able to experience a new culture and language. I spend my free time with my family (have a baby girl) and friends. I was born in Shkoder, a nice city in Albania.
I studied Foreign Languages (English &German) and Literature in Milan, Italy.
Besides that, I have also had the great pleasure of working for WSI in Garda Lake in Italy for about three years.
Currently, I am studying English to become an English teacher at the TU Dortmund.
I like this city and really enjoy it the most before Christmas time when I take my little daughter out around the Christmas market.
As for my free time activities, I enjoy swimming, listening to music and doing Pilates.
